Hello,

I'm a laboratory automation and assay development scientist who loves pairing robotics and programming with biological sciences. I have a wide array of experiences from CLIA lab diagnostics and nucleic acid extraction to R&D work for NGS library prep chemistries. While it was amazing to make an immediate impact in people’s lives in clinical diagnostics, I'm more engaged with the creativity involved in the development work that I do now. Still, it’s nice to know that I’m able to impact patient lives by maximizing laboratory throughput and reducing costs, all while maintaining sample quality. I have enjoyed living out here in Colorado, but will always have a space in my heart for my friends and family back in the Northeast. It’s been a pleasure working for Archer, where I not only have the autonomy to put together the best automation products I can, but can also hone my programming skills and delve into the business strategy behind productive laboratory automation.

FUTURE GOALS

I intend to continue with my career in automation and robotics with a close tie to the biotech industry. I'm continuously working to build up my core programming skills, and I'm also diving into the many project/product management tools and courses available to me as a Danaher employee.

RECENT PROJECT

I work at Archer, now a part of IDT, where we focus on precise detection of clinically relevant biomarkers through our Anchored Multiplex PCR (AMP) Library Prep Technology for NGS.
